All Early Career Teachers must complete a two-year statutory induction.

To fully register an ECT for statutory induction schools must complete the following actions:

• Notify the Department for Education that you have employed an ECT
• Register with an Appropriate Body
•  Decide which ECF Professional Development Programme your ECT will follow and register them on to the programme

Appropriate Body Services

To register with Odyssey for Appropriate Body services please click on the logo below to access the ECT Manager site. If you have not previously used Odyssey for Appropriate Body Services, please email admin@odysseytsh.org so we can add your school details to ECT Manager.

ECTs taking part in the joint Gloucestershire Odyssey and Balcarras ECF Programme in partnership with UCL, should be registered via the Odyssey TSH ECF Professional Development Programme registration form. If you have any difficulty accessing the form,  email admin@odysseytsh.org with details of your ECT, school and induction start date.
