Are you currently an undergraduate working towards your first degree and thinking about a career in teaching?
With an Odyssey Teaching School Paid Teaching Internship you will receive hands on experience of teaching in Gloucestershire. Commencing on 12th June 2023 and lasting 3 weeks, you will have the opportunity to:
- observe, plan and deliver lessons in your subject
- have structured training
- access to a mentor who is a good or outstanding classroom in their subject specialism
- have opportunities to network with your subject specialists.
Funded by the Department for Education and as part of the Get Into Teaching programme, Odyssey Teaching School Hub is one of a few providers nationally selected to offer this opportunity to undergraduates.
To be eligible for this internship, you must be studying one of the following subjects:
- maths
- physics
- chemistry
- computing or
- languages
Interns will be paid £300 per week for the 3 week internship.
