The majority of training provision is rated as Outstanding by Ofsted and collaboration between schools in the region is strong – resulting in a wide range of professional development opportunities, in a wide range of school contexts.
Quality of life in Gloucestershire is second to none. The Forest of Dean and Cotswolds are areas of outstanding natural beauty, whilst culturally, Gloucester and Tewkesbury are both Cathedral cities and Cheltenham is famous for hosting Literature, Music, Jazz and Science Festivals each year. Bristol, Birmingham and Cardiff are all within easy reach. Gloucestershire is well served by both road and train links, allowing quick access to the South West, Wales and the Midlands all within 1 hour.
